The pandemic has given an unprecedented boost to the cybersecurity sector. For the past two years, specialized companies have been developing at high speed, driven by constantly increasing demand. The availability of labor does not follow. In France alone, 15,000 positions are vacant according to a study by the firm Wavestone.
To address this talent shortage, Microsoft France on Tuesday announced its plan to support the training of cyber experts. It wants to educate 10,000 professionals by 2025. The strategy of the American giant is based on several axes: raising awareness among young people, attracting students and supporting job seekers in retraining.
