Inexpensive devices are also a good alternative for anyone who doesn’t want to do without smart technology, but doesn’t want to spend hundreds of euros on high-end products.
But what counts, especially with a cell phone under 200 euros, is that the quality has to be right. For example, when testing a new smartphone, you should pay attention to the battery performance. If a somewhat weaker processor is installed, this can have a negative effect on the response speed of the phone, but the battery lasts longer on average. Sufficient memory is also important to be able to store photos, music and videos on it.
Tip: Some devices offer the option of inserting a memory card and thus increasing the number of gigabytes.
Don’t expect miracles from the camera, however: Cheap smartphones under 200 euros are sometimes equipped with very small image sensors, so your images often cannot keep up with current premium products from Huawei or Apple, especially in poor light conditions and despite many megapixels. The quality is sufficient for snapshots, video telephony and small clips.
