Middle East: Union for the Mediterranean must work on two-state solution

The foreign ministers of the 27 members of the European Union, 15 other Mediterranean countries and the European Commission will debate the situation in the Middle East this Monday, November 27th, in Barcelona. The Palestinian Authority is present at the meeting, but Israel decided to boycott the meeting. The Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs regrets Israel’s absence, but argues that countries should take advantage of this meeting to work on a two-state solution.
