/ The administrative body of Naft Al-Wasat Sports Club decided on Sunday to hire a member of the current Football Association as an advisor to the football team that is at the bottom of the standings.

A statement by the club, received by Agency, stated that the club’s management decided to seek the help of “former board member and current Football Association member Firas Bahr Al-Uloom for his accumulated experience in contributing to rescuing the team in the winter transfers, as he has great experience in this aspect, especially since he is the distinguished godfather of most of the important deals concluded by the team, which enabled the club to achieve great accomplishments, including winning the title in the 2014-2015 season.”

Therefore, the management decided to “use the experience of the creator of glories and one of the most important founders of the club to contribute to rescuing the team that is suffering this season after falling to last place.”

Naft Al-Wasat occupies the last place after the end of the 12th round of the Iraqi Premier League with five points.
