Midelt: More than 26,000 households benefit from the “Ramadan 1445” operation

This operation, initiated by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, concerns 3,408 beneficiaries from urban areas and 22,792 others in rural areas, according to data from the Provincial Delegation of National Mutual Aid in Midelt.

This solidarity action, which comes in application of the High Instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, aims to provide assistance and comfort to the most vulnerable social categories, in particular widows, the elderly and people with disabilities.

This operation benefited 1,200 families in Midelt, 1,000 in Rich, 1,208 in Boumia, 1,600 in Ait Oufela, 1,000 in Jbel Ayachi, 1,000 in Tounfit, 600 in Sidi Yahya Ouyoussef, 740 in Akdim, 860 in Anemzi, 1,600 in Inzar, 1,600 in Zaida, 1,600 in Aghbalou, 1,600 in Ait Zdeg, 600 in Sidi Ayad, 1,600 in Gourama, 1,600 in Amouguer, 1,600 in Outerbat, 1,600 in Bouzmou and 1,600 households in Imilchil.

In order to ensure the success of this initiative, the province of Midelt mobilized committees at the level of the pachaliks and caïdats of the province, as well as human resources from the delegations of National Mutual Aid and National Promotion, Health, the nédharats of Habous and Islamic Affairs and public authorities in all distribution points.

HM King Mohammed VI launched last Wednesday in the Yaâcoub El Mansour district of Rabat the national operation “Ramadan 1445” benefiting one million households, or nearly 5 million people.

Mobilizing a budget of 347 million dirhams, the “Ramadan 1445” operation involves the distribution of 34,550 tons of food products (flour, milk, rice, oil, sugar, tomato paste, vermicelli, lentils and tea).
