Coach and technical analyst Muzaffar Jabbar expressed his great optimism about the Omani team’s ability to overcome today’s match, indicating that the secret word in the match against Oman is controlling the midfield.

“The defensive capabilities of our national team’s midfielders are high, and they can win many physical battles and defensive interventions, in line with the thinking of coach Casas, who chose a distinguished group of players who have defensive specifications in this vital area, such as the returning Amjad Atwan and his teammates Amir Al-Ammari and Safaa Hadi, in addition to the star Zidane Iqbal, who is proficient in pressing and playing under pressure, in addition to the defensive support duties of the left winger Danilo Al-Saeed on the flank,” Jabbar added, noting that “these factors will decide the outcome of the match in favor of the Lions of Mesopotamia, and achieving the first victory in these decisive qualifiers will be an incentive to continue the mission and achieve the hopes of the sports community to qualify for the next World Cup.”
