BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, as part of the master plan, a raid was conducted at the central office of BNP under the leadership of DB Police Chief.
He said this in a virtual press conference on Tuesday (July 16) night.
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, before this operation, cocktails were detonated in front of BNP’s central office in Nayapaltan, bullets were fired. He said that DB Police’s doing this means sending a message to the young students associated with the ongoing quota reform movement that they should be scared. I strongly condemn and hate it.
The BNP leader said, when the BNP central office was empty, when the activists were sleeping, then why this operation in the middle of the night? Because any plot can be hatched in an empty office. Earlier, it was seen in the video that the police entered the BNP headquarters with explosives.
