Miguel Ángel Loor, President of LigaPro, believes that now with Daniel Noboa, the new President of the Republic, sport will once again be something important, especially football.
Loor spoke with the Federación Postera media outlet where they asked him about his rapprochement with Noboa and at the same time criticized previous administrations:
«To thank him (Daniel Noboa) and congratulate him for having sport as an important part of the government, it has not been like that in the previous ones where it was the opposite. I have experienced it firsthand, the last thing they wanted was to be associated with football, as if we had poison,” said Loor.
It should be noted that Noboa and Loor met in Spain with Antonio Valencia and Javier Tebas, head of the Spanish League, where they reached several agreements for the good of Ecuadorian football. (D)
