COP29 priorities, prospects for sustainable development solutions, and potential areas of cooperation were discussed in a video conference by Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Google’s Head of Public Affairs and Public Policy for the Caucasus and Central Asia Olga Skorokhodova.
This was reported on Tuesday by Day.Az with reference to a message from the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the IV Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.
“During the video conference, issues of current cooperation, the use of innovative practices, the development of the digital economy, as well as the organization of joint activities on technologies based on artificial intelligence were discussed. The parties also considered the priorities of COP29, the prospects for sustainable development solutions and potential areas of cooperation on Google products and services,” the 4SIM statement says.
It should be noted that the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) will be held in Baku from November 11 to 22.
