In their podcast, Thomas Gottschalk and Mike Krüger regularly criticize their colleagues. Now their criticism is once again directed at Tokio Hotel stars Bill and Tom Kaulitz.

Since Thomas Gottschalk gave up his “Wetten, dass..?” presenter, he has mainly appeared on Instagram. The 74-year-old recently announced his engagement to Karina Mroß there. You can read here why he had to improvise with an unusual ring when proposing.

Gottschalk also regularly shares his opinion on current topics in his podcast “Die Supernasen” with Mike Krüger. The two TV stars don’t mince their words – and also like to take a dig at fellow celebs. In the latest edition, Bill and Tom Kaulitz get their fair share of criticism.

Gottschalk and Krüger criticize what they believe is a declining work ethic among young people. “We naturally want the next generation to enjoy life and we want everyone to be happy. But we are naturally concerned that certain things that were a given for us are no longer valid,” said the former “Wetten, dass..?” host.

The Tokio Hotel stars are cited as an example of the lack of enthusiasm for work. The twins have just released their documentary “Kaulitz & Kaulitz”, in which they give an insight into their private lives. For Mike Krüger, the musicians complain too much in it. “They complain and are completely worn out because they have been on tour for five months and come home completely exhausted,” he criticizes.

Something like that would be out of the question for him – who himself has “280 days of travel” in a year. “We didn’t think at all about how much we travel or how much we are on the road. We did 120 concerts in a row, then we had two days off and then we did another 80 concerts,” Krüger explains. The Kaulitz twins, on the other hand, played “certainly not one every day, but one every week, that would be a lot” in the five months.

Gottschalk agrees and stresses: “There was never a question for me – I was never ill in my life when I appeared on the radio or on television. I often said something with a sniffly nose.” His job is fulfilling, even with a high workload, but young people today have “a somewhat vague idea of what to expect.”
