One of our favorite things about the section is encountering Knesset members on the street, whether former or non-Knesset members, because what could be nicer than meeting in person the people who see mostly in the Knesset and the new editions?
This time we caught the Speaker of the Knesset last year, a Member of the Knesset Mickey Levy, Who was walking around Ben Gurion Street in Tel Aviv late in the morning. As befits a man in his position, Levy was accompanied by two bodyguards who walked in front of him and behind him, lest anyone try to approach him, God forbid. The three were walking on the sidewalk when suddenly our photographer surprised them, but as someone already accustomed to media and public interest, they did not get excited, gave a look and continued on their way.
