AC Milan beat Slavia Prague 1-3 this afternoon, in the second leg of the round of 16 of the Europa League, a result that allows the Rossoneri to qualify for the next stage of the competition.

With two goals behind in the tie, the Czech team started the match looking for a goal, creating a good opportunity to score in the first minutes. However, the expulsion of Tomas Holes after twenty minutes ended up ruining everything for the home team.

With a numerical advantage, the Italian team began to control the match and, in the space of three minutes, resolved the tie with two consecutive goals; in the 33rd minute Pulisic opened the scoring after an assist from Rafael Leão.

Three minutes later it was Loftus-Cheek who increased the Rossoneri’s lead. But the best moment was saved for the first-half injury time. Rafael Leão received it on the left, moved to the middle and shot for the best goal of the game.

In the second half, the best Slavia managed was to reduce it through a penalty converted by Matej Jurasek.
