How the arrival of Tammy Abraham can change Milan’s attack: the English striker is getting closer, Luka Jovic invited by the Rossoneri to evaluate offers on the market.
Tammy Abraham is closer to Milan. The English striker from Roma should be involved in a swap with Alexis Saelemaekers. The Rossoneri would like to pay the English striker 5 million plus the Belgian winger, while Roma is asking for 10 million plus the player: the agreement is increasingly nearing completion and the attack of Milan may soon change.
Since the possibility of this operation between Milan and Roma became concrete, there has been a lot of discussion surrounding Luka Jovic, who would thus become the fourth central striker of the Diavolo after Alvaro Morata, Abraham, and Okafor.
How Milan’s attack can change with Abraham
The latter was used by Paulo Fonseca from the first minute as a center forward in the match against Parma: the Swiss had scored the equalizing goal against Torino on his league debut, and so the Portuguese coach tried to give him confidence, also due to Morata’s injury absence.

Okafor did not convince, and Jovic did not either when he came on in the match against Torino: for this reason, Milan decided to focus on Abraham to strengthen the offensive department. The English striker would find his friend Fikayo Tomori at Milan, with whom he spent several years at Chelsea. Abraham arrived in Italy in the summer of 2021 with Roma for 41 million and contributed to winning the Conference League in his first year.
Milan invites Jovic to evaluate other offers
Milan has invited Luka Jovic to consider any offers on the market to free up a wage and a place in the squad. Arriving from Fiorentina after a disappointing spell at Real Madrid, the Serbian striker has always been used as a backup forward by the Rossoneri, and even this year it seemed this would be his role in Fonseca’s squad.
After the first two outings, further evaluations were made, and Milan would have preferred to find a solution for Jovic before bringing in Abraham, but time is running out, and it is possible that they decide to move forward with this operation regardless of the Serbian striker’s departure.
