CALCIOMERCATO MILAN NEWS: IS BORUSSIA PUTTING UP A WALL?

For the transfer market of Milan, the possible arrival of Manu Kone remains the hottest option, with the Frenchman potentially being the final addition to the Rossoneri’s transfer campaign. Florian Plettenberg, a well-known expert on German transfer market, shared the latest updates regarding the Bundesliga midfielder who is of great interest to Paulo Fonseca, starting from a statement: “The Borussia Mönchengladbach has not yet received concrete offers for Manu Koné,” Plettenberg reported as the first update.

He then added: “The 23-year-old midfielder maintains a calm and professional attitude. The German club is awaiting adequate offers, with a basis of at least 20 million euros.” Finally, Plettenberg revealed a significant update on the negotiation which could facilitate the deal: “Manu Koné has clearly expressed his desire to leave the club before the transfer market closes, which will happen in 8 days. His contract is valid until 2026, and there are inquiries from Italy.” Milan is ready for the decisive move.

CALCIOMERCATO MILAN NEWS: THE FORMULA FOR POBEGA TO BOLOGNA

For the transfer market of Milan, an outgoing movement is being defined: Tommaso Pobega is set to leave Milan, and it could be a definitive farewell. The midfielder, who has previously played for Spezia and Torino, does not fit into Paulo Fonseca’s plans for the upcoming season, despite his usefulness for the official lists. Therefore, the Rossoneri club has started contacts with Bologna, which is keenly interested, for a loan transfer with the option to buy.

Pobega will have to compete with Fabbian and Ferguson for a spot in the team, once the Scotsman becomes available under Vincenzo Italiano’s guidance. The player has shown full willingness towards the Emilia solution, thus reuniting with the former Fiorentina coach with whom he had already worked during the 2020-21 season at Spezia, when Pobega, on loan, contributed to the survival of the Ligurian club with 20 appearances, 6 goals, and 3 assists. In the previous season, however, Pobega made 15 appearances for the Rossoneri.
