ISLAMABAD: The 4-day talks between Pakistan and the United States on the signing of a military agreement between the two countries began yesterday. Talks to strengthen military and defense ties between Pakistan and the US took place in Washington yesterday. The first round of talks was held in Pakistan in January 2021. Now the 2nd round of talks has started in America. A Pakistani delegation headed by Lieutenant General Mohammad Saeed, the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, has gone there for the talks, which will be held until next Thursday. 2 Major Generals, 2 Brigadiers, US Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs Mohammad Mudasir Tipu were included in this group. They participated in the talks held yesterday at the Pentagon, the US Defense Headquarters. Bilateral security cooperation was discussed then.
