A Cuban sleeps on the streets, abandoned, after serving the Castro regime for years as a recruiter for mandatory military service on the island.

According to information posted on social media, the man was a captain in the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) and is currently homeless and suffering from alcohol abuse problems.

“He was a captain of the FAR, in my childhood he was the one who recruited for mandatory military service in the Tallapiedra popular council,” in the Habana Vieja municipality, explained the profile of Generosidad Cristiano Jerusalén, on Facebook.

According to the report on the aforementioned social network, the man is sleeping on the floor of the entrance to the 4 Caminos market, which is further evidence that the regime is abandoning those who have been loyal to them for years.

“Today you see him as an alcoholic, given up on life. Lying on the floor of the entrance to the 4 Caminos market. Yes, I feel sadness and pain, but I am not moved to shake his hand, maybe my heart is hardening,” said the user who, according to his profile, is a defender of human rights in Cuba.

In the images shared in the complaint, the recruiter of young people who were forced to be part of the military service can be seen lying on the floor, while using his dirty flip-flops as a pillow, in an attempt to get comfort.
