For the first time, Ukrainian servicemen used the Javelin anti-tank missile system in Donbass. This is stated in an article by the Military Times.

The relevant information was received from the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov.

“Budanov said the Javelin systems were also used against the Russians,” said MT editor-in-chief Howard Altman.

Ukraine received the first Javelin complexes in 2018. In total, the first batch consisted of 37 systems and 210 missiles. The second batch was delivered to Ukraine in the summer of 2020.
