Artist Elle-Mie Ejdrup Hansen is featured in a new documentary film, ‘The Light’, which tells the story of what happened when she created the work of art Peace Sculpture in 1995. The laser light, which was supposed to light up all the way along the West Coast for two hours, caused a riot and had colossal consequences for the artist for two decades to come. Now she talks about the work, the debate and the enormous shame that led to it.
