jpnn.comSEMARANG – MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MSC) – Semarang Series 1 2024 has been completed, and has become a great closing city for Series 1.
The reason is, the final match held at the UNDIP Tembalang Stadium, Semarang, Central Java, Sunday (11/8) was lively and upheld sportsmanship.
In the final match of Age Category (KU) 10, MIN 1 Kendal managed to defeat the toughness of SDN Wonotingal through a penalty shootout. Meanwhile, in KU 12, SD Muhammadiyah 05 Semarang successfully became the champion after overcoming fierce resistance from SDN Rejosari 01.
Interestingly, in welcoming the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, the stadium area was filled with red and white flags. Participants who competed on Sunday (11/8) wore red and white ribbons on their right arms.
Before holding the first match, the future soccer heroines also sang the song “Hari Merdeka” in unison. Meanwhile, the parents who accompanied their children to the field before competing in the final match, wore attributes with an independence nuance.
In the final match of KU 10, both MIN 1 Kendal and SDN Wonotingal Semarang brought the spirit to win. It was proven in the first half, both of them played an attacking game scheme. MIN 1 Kendal’s defense line was tightened when SDN Wonotingal continued to dominate possession and create goal opportunities.
The score did not last long in the first half. In the fifth minute, SDN Wonotingal took the lead when a free kick released by Challista Lintang Oktaviane was difficult for MIN 1 Kendal goalkeeper Aina Kamilia to block.
Wanting to maintain the lead, in the remaining first half, the exchange of attacks continued between the two teams. MIN 1 Kendal did not give up by launching a beautiful kick. But unfortunately the opportunity was still successfully quelled by goalkeeper Khanza Mutia Nindyati. The temporary 0-1 lead lasted until halftime.
