The fashion worn by Adore’s artist ‘NewJeans‘ member Minji, who recently released her comeback pictorial, attracted attention as it was similar to CEO Min Heejin, who held a press conference the previous day due to a management conflict with Hive.
After the press conference, CEO Min’s ‘press conference look’ and the products Minzy wore in the pictorial were sold out online, attracting attention from the fashion industry.
According to the industry on the 29th, New Jeans pre-released the music video for ‘How Sweet’ on the 26th and announced their return.
New Jeans also released a concept pictorial on the official website on the same day, and member Minji’s fashion became a hot topic because it was almost similar to the outfit of CEO Min, who held a press conference the day before.
At the press conference held on the 25th, CEO Min wore a green striped T-shirt from the Japanese brand ‘California General Store’ and a blue cap from ’47Brand’ with the LA Dodgers logo.
At the time, the T-shirt and hat worn by CEO Min were sold out, and sales of products with similar styles also showed a sharp increase.
According to Musinsa, sales of MLB’s ‘LA Dodgers’ ball cap, similar to the hat worn by CEO Min, increased 269% after the press conference (25th to 28th) compared to the same period immediately before (21st to 24th).
In the pictorial released the day after the press conference, Minzy wore a green striped t-shirt and a purple ball cap similar to the product worn by CEO Min. Both products were confirmed to be from the American high-end street brand ‘NOAH’.
The product Minzy is wearing is the ‘Jersey Long Sleeve Polo’ product that Noah unveiled for the FW (Fall/Winter) season last year. Currently, the product is sold out at Noah Korea’s official online shop.
The ‘Core Logo Beanie High Rise Gray’ worn in other pictorials is also currently sold out.
Noah is a brand launched by Brandon Babensien, former creative director of the global luxury street brand Supreme, and his wife Estelle-Bailey Babensien.
‘Noah’ is a brand that Musinsa Trading began exclusive domestic distribution last year, and opened Korea’s first offline store ‘Noah City House’ in Apgujeong, Seoul in November last year.
An official in the fashion industry said, “New Jeans is attracting so much attention that they took on the role of official ambassador for a global luxury brand right after their debut,” adding, “New Jeans released a pictorial wearing products similar to CEO Min’s ‘press conference look,’ which recently attracted a lot of attention. “Products with similar styles are becoming very popular,” he explained.
