The censoring of Aparna Balamurali and Unni Mukundan’s film Mindy and Pandu has been completed. The Censor Board has given the film a clean U certificate. It has also been informed that the film will be released in theaters soon. But the official release date of the film is yet to be announced. The film is directed by Arun Bose. Mindy and Kain is one of the most awaited films of the audience.
Aparna Balamurali and Unni Mukundan’s film also has the distinction of coming together for the first time. In the film, Unni Mukundan plays the role of Sanal while Aparna Balamurali plays the role of Leena. The screenplay of the film is written by Mridul George and director Arun Bose. The film is produced by Salim Ahmed. Apart from Aparna Balamurali and Unni Mukundan, Jafar Idukki, Jude Anthony Joseph, Mala Parvathy, Sanju Madhu, Sohan Seenulal, Geethi Sangeeta, Prashanth Murali and Athira Suresh are also playing the lead roles in the film.

The film will hit theaters on December 22 as a Christmas release. Cappa is Prithviraj’s film directed by Shaji Kailas after Tiger. Kappa is a film that tells the story of gangsters and quotation teams.
Kappa also has the distinction of being Aparna Balamurali’s first film with Prithviraj. Prithviraj comes in a very different look in the film. Kappa is a film based on the novella ‘Shankhumukhi’ written by GR Indugopan, which tells the story of the invisible underworld of Thiruvananthapuram city. Indu Gopan himself is preparing the screenplay of the film. Kappa also has the distinction of being the first film to be produced by FEFCA Writers’ Union. The film is being produced by Writers Union in collaboration with the production company Theater of Dreams.
