On April 14, registrations to apply at the Ica, Piura and Lima offices close.
The Ministry of Education offers 150 vacancies for the three sports and artistic High Performance Schools (COAR) that will operate in Ica, Piura and Lima and will provide public school students with art or sports skills a comprehensive educational service that will allow them to Strengthen and enhance their skills with trained teachers and experts in the field.
In the COAR Deportivo de Ica there are 25 vacancies for soccer (men) and 25 vacancies for athletics (women and men); in the COAR Deportivo Piura, 50 vacancies for volleyball (women), while the Artistic COAR of Lima has 20 vacancies for visual arts, 15 for theater and 15 for dance.
Applicants, who can register until Friday, April 14, must have completed the 1st grade of high school in a public educational institution of Regular Basic Education or be in the 2nd grade of high school in 2023 and be in a promoted condition with all approved courses.
In addition, they must have Peruvian nationality or, if they are a foreign national, have the documents required by the competent authority, and be between 13 and 15 years of age by March 31, among other requirements established in the prospectus published on the website. https://www.minedu.gob.pe/colegios-de-alto-rendimiento/
Eligible students will pass to the evaluation stage, which consists of the application of various tests of both physical and technical condition for the disciplines of volleyball, soccer and athletics, as well as a standardized test of artistic abilities in visual arts, theater and dance.
The results will be published on the COAR website on April 23 and the start of classes is scheduled for the 24 of the same month at the Ica, Piura and Lima campuses in the face-to-face modality with residence.
