BMW The group has launched its second electric model in India. This time the Mini Cooper SE electric hatchback model has been introduced. The new Mini Cooper SE model is being introduced in India in CBU (fully Built Unit) mode.

The new Mini Cooper SE model is priced at Rs. 47.20 lakhs. The new Mini Cooper SE is the lowest priced luxury electric vehicle currently on sale in the Indian market. It is priced at Rs. 8.2 lakh more. The Indian release for last year’s Mini Electric model has been confirmed.

Bookings for the Mini Electric model have also begun. All units sold out on booking. Outwardly the new Mini Cooper SE looks just like the previous model. However, the grille and ORVMs of this model have bright yellow accents and are newly e-badged. It also has 17-inch spoke alloy wheels.

The cabin looks very similar to the standard Mini Cooper. Among them are a touch screen infotainment system, Harmon Garden audio unit, new digital instrument console, head-up display, multi-function steering wheel, wireless smartphone charging and various other features.

The Mini Cooper SE model is powered by a single electric motor. It is rated at 181 hp. Capacity, 270 Newton meters expressing torque. It also comes with a 32.6 kWh lithium ion battery pack. This car has a cellular capacity of up to 270 km on a full charge. And it can reach speeds of 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 7.3 seconds.

It takes 3.5 hours to fully charge the new mini electric car. Buyers of this car are offered an 11 kW AC wallbox charger.
