jpnn.comJAKARTA – Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Abdullah Azwar Anas expressed his appreciation to the 91 regional governments (Pemda) that received the best governance practice awards at the 2024 Anugerah Pandu Negeri.

Minister Anas assessed that the regional governments receiving the awards demonstrated the government’s real commitment to implementing bureaucratic reforms that have a direct impact on society.

“Congratulations to the award recipients who have supported and consistently implemented the best governance and governance practices in the public sector,” said Minister Anas when he became the keynote speaker at the 2024 National Scout Awards event in Jakarta, Thursday (5/9).

Minister Anas also appreciated the Anugerah Pandu Negeri event which routinely assesses governance practices in local governments.

The former Banyuwangi Regent said that in implementing good governance and governance practices, it is necessary to strengthen innovation and multi-sector collaboration in government agencies.

This is in line with the government’s efforts to accelerate bureaucratic reform through thematic bureaucratic reform.

“Based on the study conducted by Delloite, now is the time to collaborate in building innovation, not compete with each other. No single actor can achieve a goal without influencing other actors,” said Minister Anas.

The initiator of the Indonesian Institute for Public Governance (IIPG) who is also the General Chairperson of IICD-IIPG 2012-2024, Sigit Pramono, said that IIPG is a strategic partner of the government in supporting public sector governance reforms in order to achieve the best performance by maintaining multi-sector synergy and harmonization.
