On Tuesday, May 2, Minister of Education and Research Kristina Kallas (Eesti 200) is on a visit to Ida-Virumaa, informs ERR. She will visit the schools of Kohtla-Järve, Narva and Sillamae and meet with the mayors of these cities. The focus of the visit is the transition to Estonian-language education in Ida-Virumaa.

During her visit to Ida-Viru County, Kristina Kallas will visit Järve School, Sillamäe Estonian Basic School and Narva Pähklimäe Gymnasium.

In the evening, a press conference will be held at the Narva creative center OBJEKT on the topic of transition to Estonian-language education.
