jpnn.comJAKARTA – Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono is very enthusiastic about waiting for the fierce duel between the Indonesian U-23 National Team and Uzbekistan U-23 in the 2024 Asian Cup in the semifinals.
Playing at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium, Doha, Qatar, Basuki predicted that Garuda Muda would win by scoring two goals against Uzbekistan.
“I’m sure that I hope we can win this match. We can score two goals. Win,” said Basuki when he was going to attend the U-23 Asian Cup viewing together with President Joko Widodo at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Monday evening.
Basuki said that it was not easy for the national team to take part in this U23 Asian Cup semifinal match, especially since Uzbekistan had never conceded a goal in the last four matches.
“They are strong in attack and defense,” said Basuki.
However, he believes that Indonesia can overcome Uzbekistan in the next match.
