The team that combines basketball and entertainment came to Indonesia to take part in the Harlem Globetrotters World Tour Asia 2024.
Not only Indonesia was visited, several other countries were also visited, starting from the Philippines, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Singapore.
Minister of Youth and Sports Dito admitted that he was pleased with the arrival of the Harlem Globetrotters to revive the basketball ecosystem and industry in Indonesia.
Moreover, by bringing the entertainment concept, the Harlem Globetrotters attract the interest of Indonesian basketball fans to watch their action.
“I really appreciate the Harlem Globetrotters basketball team coming to Indonesia. I hope that this basketball team that combines basketball and entertainment can revive the basketball ecosystem and industry in Indonesia,” said Minister of Youth and Sports Dito at a press conference, Friday (19/7/2024).
The arrival of the Harlem Globetrotters in Indonesia was facilitated by One Step Forward President Director Roderick Tjandra.
According to Roderick, basketball fans will be entertained by the arrival of the Harlem Globetrotters and will increase the public’s enthusiasm for loving basketball.
