With the aim of continuing to open doors and job opportunities abroad for more Salvadoran families, the Minister of Labor, Rolando Castro, announced the departure of a new contingent of workers to Canada.

“The objective of our #LaborMigrationProgram is to allow our people to work abroad without having to risk their lives crossing deserts or rivers,” said Minister Castro.

Likewise, the official announced that the program will be extended to Costa Rica, with the purpose of providing an opportunity to work legally and safely in another country, without putting anyone’s life at risk.

The Government of President Nayib Bukele seeks to prevent compatriots from wanting to pursue an unattainable American dream, offering a real and viable alternative to work abroad legally and safely.

The Labor Migration Program began by sending contingents to the United States and later expanded to Canada, which is designed so that those who wish to work abroad do so legally and safely, without putting their lives at risk.
