jpnn.comJAKARTA – It is certain that the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo) will move offices to the Archipelago Capital (IKN) in July 2024.
This was stated by the Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi at his office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (3/4).
“We are one of the 10 ministries that have to go to IKN in July, and we already have 49 people going there,” said Budi.
Budi said that one of the people who was confirmed to be starting an office at IKN from the Ministry of Communication and Information was the Director General of Post and Informatics (Dirjen PPI) of the Ministry of Communication and Information, Wayan Tony Supriyanto.
According to him, the Director General of PPI was sent to be one of the people on duty at IKN because he had to ensure the readiness of telecommunications infrastructure at IKN.
“This is within consideration, because a lot of infrastructure related to telecommunications is Mr Wayan’s business. The Directorate General of PPI is also taking care of it there,” said Budi.
In terms of telecommunications support at IKN, the Ministry of Communication and Information ensures that IKN has reliable connectivity provided by one of the State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) telecommunications companies, PT Telkom Indonesia.
Budi said Telkom was trusted as a reliable telecommunications service provider for IKN and this commitment was strengthened by building other supporting infrastructure.
The Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo) is certain to move its offices to the Indonesian capital (IKN) in July 2024.
