The Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports is proceeding with the recruitment of 8,553 teachers for Primary and Secondary Education, in Special Education and Training and in General Education as temporary substitutes with fixed-term private law employment for the school year 2024-2025.
Specifically, the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports states in its announcement that for the school year 2024-2025, the following will be recruited as temporary substitutes:
In Primary Education:
a) 221 teachers of various specialties in Special Education and Training (EAE), and
b) 3,777 teachers of various specialties in General Education.
In Secondary Education:
a) 2,336 teachers of various specialties in Special Education and Training (EAE),
b) 2,058 teachers of various specialties in General Education, and
c) 131 teachers of the PE79.01 specialty in Music Schools for the teaching of musical specialties.
Additionally, thirty (30) temporary substitutes of Secondary Education specialties have been allocated for recruitment at the Sivitanidios Public School of Arts and Professions, by a decision of the respective Board of Directors.
The recruited individuals must report and take up their duties from Thursday, September 5 to Friday, September 6, 2024.
Regarding the placement process in school units (where required) and the assumption of duty, the recruits are required to refer to the address www.minedu.gov.gr/anaplirotes where the necessary information and clarifications have been posted.
