Ministry of Health Announces Recall of Mercato Brand Meat Products Due to Salmonella Concern

The Ministry of Health announced this evening (Wednesday) that the manufacturer Carmel Delicacies Ltd. is calling for the return of Mercato brand meat products. In an inspection conducted as part of the factory’s self-quality control, a salmonella bacterium was found in one of the products that was not marketed as a retailer, but there is concern about the presence of the pathogen in the following additional products.
