Health diplomas
Health security officials in the Ministry demanded equality after joining a program for health diplomas launched by the Health Specialties Commission at the behest of the Ministry of Health, and in coordination with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, through which it attracted a number of bachelor’s holders from various disciplines to enroll them in programs such as health security, dental assistant, and technician Patient care, medical coding, paramedic technician and optometrist.
Healthy Assistant
Health security officials said that all of these programs – with the exception of health security – qualify their passers for a “technical” classification, which is the classification due to holders of a bachelor’s degree that does not qualify them for a specialist degree, according to Article 21 of the General Regulations for Professional Classification and Registration. As for a graduate of health security, he is classified as (health assistant), and this classification is entitled to a holder of a one-year health diploma after high school, according to the regulations, and the classification of health security officials in the category of health assistant with their entitlement to a technical classification similar to graduates of other programs, despite the equality of qualifications and the same Admission requirements to a large extent involve a great digestion of their rights “as they say,” as 5,373 health security employees are looking forward to correcting their classification based on the Ministry’s keenness to do justice to all its employees and its interest in the quality of their careers, and to allocate special programs for that.
