The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has confirmed the supply of a total of 3,704 rental housing units in 20 locations nationwide in the first half of this year (January to June).

Youth-specific housing is a rental housing built in excellent locations such as near subway stations to stabilize housing for young people in the city. The youth-specific housing (370 units) in Daebang-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul will be built on a military site designated as a public housing district in 2022. It is within the living area of Jangseungbaegi Station on Subway Line 7 in Seoul. Tenants will be recruited at the end of 2029. The Sejong City Joint Campus Youth-Special Housing (202 units) will be supplied for approximately 2,000 young people who have difficulty being accommodated in campus dormitories. The target for occupancy is the second half of 2028 (July-December).
Job-linked support housing is a rental housing that provides workspaces and community facilities to young people, entrepreneurs, and small business workers. The Jeonbuk Gochang Job-linked Housing (200 units) was proposed to provide living conditions for workers in the Shinhwalryuk Industrial Complex located in Bongsan-ri, Gosu-myeon. It is also 5 minutes away from the center, including Gochang County Office. It is possible to move in as early as the second half of 2028.
Senior welfare housing is a type of rental housing that provides housing and welfare services to senior citizens over 65 years of age who do not have a home by installing rental housing and social welfare facilities with barrier-free design. Goesan-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do is aiming to have 200 units occupied in the second half of 2029.
