jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Ministry of Religion gave awards to 11 Islamic Religious Instructors (PAI) at the 2024 PAI Award event.
This event is not only a form of appreciation for the dedication and loyalty of PAI, but also as an acknowledgement of their vital role in providing innovation and ideas related to Islamic religious counseling in Indonesia.
Deputy Minister of Religion, Saiful Rahmat Dasuki emphasized the importance of the role of PAI in promoting Islamic teachings that are rahmatan lil’alamin.
“The efforts of these (PAI) parents are a part that will be recorded in history, how the roles of PAI in maintaining the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia,” he said at the 2024 PAI Award event in Jakarta, Wednesday (21/8).
The Deputy Minister of Religion said that the PAI Award is not just an award event, but also a joint effort to encourage the improvement of the quality and capacity of religious instructors.
The increasingly complex challenges of preaching and fostering the community make this award a moral encouragement for extension workers to continue working and innovating.
A total of 80 PAI who have achieved have successfully qualified for the final round which is divided into 8 categories. Of that number, 11 PAI were named the best.
“To the winners, this victory is our collective victory in maintaining the solidarity and dedication of Islamic Religious Instructors throughout Indonesia,” said the Deputy Minister of Religion.
This award also underlines the important role of Islamic Religious Instructors in maintaining diversity, tolerance, and religious moderation.
