jpnn.comBANDUNG – Acting Director of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims Masriani Mansyur confirmed that there are no more Bandung earthquake refugees eating cassava in the Ministry of Social Affairs’ refugee tents.

This certainty was conveyed because the logistical assistance sent by the Ministry of Social Affairs was received on Wednesday (18/9) afternoon.

“Maybe it was right at the time of the incident, but a few hours after that, the Ministry of Social Affairs logistics immediately arrived at the location, including tents and others,” said Masriani in his official statement, Sunday (22/9).

Cikembang Village Head Tatang Ridwan Trulina agreed with the statement of the Ministry of Social Affairs official.

“The incident occurred at the beginning of the earthquake, a few moments later the Ministry of Social Affairs’ assistance arrived at the location,” he said.

According to Tatang, the evacuation points are among the locations that received the most aid.

The Ministry of Social Affairs has distributed a number of aid packages for the Bandung earthquake victims since Wednesday (18/9), including 1,280 ready-to-eat food packages on the first day of the earthquake.

The next day or Thursday (19/9) morning, the Ministry of Social Affairs’ field kitchen team provided food supplies for affected residents in five villages.

Earthquake victims in Bandung refugee tents are certain to no longer have to worry about cassava nights because the Ministry of Social Affairs has moved quickly to distribute aid.
