In a measure aimed at safeguarding the safety of those attending professional soccer matches in Colombia, the Ministry of Sports has ordered the prohibition of public entry into stadiums in cities that They have not complied with the updating and subscription of security protocols and emergency and contingency plans.
The provision, reported in the ordinary session of the National Commission for Safety, Comfort and Coexistence in Football, arises in ccompliance with Circular 004 – 2024 of the Ministry of Sports. This measure carries out the work of Inspection, Surveillance and Control over the Local Football Commissions.
The cities affected by this decision are Bogotá, Cartagena, Santa Marta, Neiva and Palmira (Valle del Cauca). These places will not have fans in their stadiums until they correct the irregularities and present the required documentation in accordance with Decree 1007 of 2012.

In the session of the National Commission, held at the Ministry of the Interior and with the participation of various entities and representatives of the sports field, technical and The importance of guaranteeing the safety and comfort of those attending sporting events was emphasized.
In addition, for the first time, representatives of soccer clubs, sports journalists and professional players attended, which shows the interest of the National Government in listening to all the relevant voices of the soccer ecosystem in the search for consensus and comprehensive solutions.
