Ministry of Sports provides financial assistance to Indian swimmers

Sajan, who competed in the Tokyo Olympics, is receiving financial assistance to train for various competitions.

Under the Federal Ministry of Sports’ Olympic Medal Platform Target Program and Annual Training and Competition Program, it has been approved to provide financial assistance to Indian swimmers to participate in various competitions this year.

Accordingly, Indian swimmers Sajan Prakash, Srihari Nataraj, Mana Patel and Kenisha Gupta are being funded.

Sajan, who competed in the Tokyo Olympics, will be given Rs 15.1 lakh for training and training camps.

Similarly, Srihari Nataraj will get Rs 22.02 lakh and Mana Patel and Kenisha Gupta will get Rs 3.89 lakh each, according to the Union Sports Ministry.
