jpnn.comJAKARTA – The use of village funds in the Village Fund Budget (ADD) must be limited to the purposes of socialization, workshops and training.
In Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau, the use of village funds for outreach, workshops and training each year reaches IDR 150-200 million.
This puts a huge burden on the village budget which should be used for infrastructure development that is really needed by the community.
Complaints about the large amount of funds used for various purposes each year in the last few years at ADD, which are intended for the same socialization and training purposes every year, were conveyed by several village heads to Member of the Republic of Indonesia’s DPR H. Mafirion during a recess visit and absorption of aspirations in Tembilahan, Riau , last week.
“This cannot happen again in 2025, because the funds spent on socializing various regulations and training, which are the same every year, are quite burdensome on village funds,” stressed Mafirion in a written statement in Jakarta, Friday (3/1/2025).
According to Mafirion, from reports from several village heads, for the 2025 socialization that has been submitted to the villages for inclusion in the ADD there are four activities at a cost of around IDR 30 million.
Drug education activities and village financial management workshops cost around IDR 15 million, for five types of training including PKK and Village Posyandu cadres and village assets costing around IDR 85 million.
Lastly, there is an increase in the capacity of the BPD and guidance on the socialization of the law of around IDR 14.5 million.
