Minniti: “Campo di Marte must maintain only its social and health destination”

by time news

Alienation of the Campo di Marte pavilions, the deputy mayor Giovanni Minniti intervenes on the issue.

“Here comes the alienation plan that, like every year, since the time of the Rossi administration of the Democratic Party, comes out – says the representative of the League – This means that someone from the Tuscany Region continues to row against the interests of the citizens of Lucca. who ask for a higher quality of health services. As far as I am concerned, as also stated by the Honorable Elisa Montemagni, the Campo di Marte complex must remain for sole and exclusive socio-health usewithout being sold even in part with proceeds benefiting the Region”.

“The existing pavilions in the Campo di Marte complex – he says – should be used for example as polydiagnostic and ultrasound centre, but also for activities for the disabled and day centres for the elderly. Other destinations could be specialist outpatient clinics to be used by family doctors, they could be counseling centers and information offices for aids and prostheses. We could also think about the creation of new nursing homes for the elderly and rehabilitation facilitiesintermediate care beds. These are the proposals that must be carried forward for the Lucca community and certainly all for the social and health sector”.
