According to reports, the events occurred when operators of the Command and Control Center (C2) South reported a child injured by a fall in a housing complex, located on Fresno Street, in the El Reloj neighborhood, in the Coyoacán municipality.
Upon receiving the alert, members of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City arrived at the scene and initially assisted the minor.

They then requested the assistance of an ambulance. Rescue and Emergency Medical Squad (ERUM) paramedics arrived at the scene and, after treating the minor, diagnosed that he had suffered severe head trauma and a probable hip fracture, so they transferred him to a hospital for comprehensive medical care.
Meanwhile, the officers reported what happened to the corresponding Public Ministry agent, who will carry out the investigation of the case.

According to reports, the boy was playing on the balcony when minutes later he fell to the ground – it is unknown from what height he fell.

Apparently the minor approached the railing from where he lost his balance and fell precipitously into the building’s parking lot.
The neighbors went out to inspect the place after the loud noise and realized the situation and informed the authorities, who, at the scene, interviewed a 41-year-old woman, who indicated that, moments before going out to exercise with her 45-year-old partner, they were alerted by a neighbor, who told them that her partner’s four-year-old son had fallen and was unconscious on their balcony.
