The Belarusian authorities are always ready for a dialogue with the European Union on the settlement of the migration crisis. This “RIA Novosti” said the press secretary of the President of Belarus Natalia Eismont.

“I will tell you this: we have always been ready, now we are ready and we will be ready to discuss. We did not destroy this dialogue, ”she said in response to a question about whether Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is ready to discuss the settlement of the migration crisis with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other EU politicians.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he believed that Merkel and Lukashenko were ready to negotiate the migration crisis.

The situation on the border between Poland and Belarus escalated on November 8, when a group of migrants approached the Polish border and tried to overcome the barriers. In response, Polish border guards used tear gas. Then illegal migrants organized a temporary camp in the border areas, on November 12 they managed to break through the border.
