The first National Employment Fair 2024 of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare ―Mintrab― will reach the 22 departments of Guatemala in April, offering a space for Guatemalans to learn about and apply for different job opportunities.
Here we tell you how to pre-register and where and when they will be arriving at each department. Batteries then!
First National Employment Fair 2024
This is the first National Employment Fair carried out by the Ministry of Labor in 2024. It will take place from April 9 to 12 in the departments, while it will arrive in Guatemala City on April 17 and 18.
At departmental locations, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to interact with companies from various sectors, present their skills and competencies, and apply for available vacancies.
The inauguration will take place in the department of Quiché, specifically in the El Tonelón Municipal Hall, located in zone 1 of Santa Cruz del Quiché.
Places where each of the fairs will be held in Guatemala
The dates and locations of the sessions are detailed below:
April 9th:
- Suchitepéquez: 2a. Avenida 6-23, zone 1, Mazatenango Central Park Cultural Center Old Barracks
- San Marcos: km 252 Aldea Caxaque, exit to the coastal area of the department, Intecap
- Quiché: El Tonelón municipal hall, zone 1, Santa Cruz del Quiché
- Izabal: 8a. Street and 8th. Avenue, Parque Reyna Barrios Sports Center, Puerto Barrios
- Alta Verapaz: Calzada Rabinal Ajau zone 11, National Youth Institute -INJUD- Cobán
April 10th:
- Zacapa: Social hall of the fair field
- Totonicapán: km 200, National Route 1, Los Altos Shopping Center Totonicapán
- Sololá: 6a. Avenida 10-10 zone 1, Municipal Hall on one side of the municipality
- Quetzaltenango: 6a. Calle 29-50 zone 3, Intecap Xela
- Escuintla: municipal hall of Palín
- Baja Verapaz: Route 4, 4-59 zone 1, Municipal Hall, Central Neighborhood of Salamá
April 11:

Pre-register to attend
To attend the fair you must pre-register, which will allow you to obtain a QR code that you must present on the day of the event. Follow these steps to register:
- Go to tuempleo.mintrabajo.gob.gt and click on “Register here”
- Enter your data and attach your resume in PDF format, the maximum file size is 1 MB
- Click on the “create account” option
- Log in to your account again using your CUI and password
- Enter the “Events” option
- Select the “Job Fair” option and the department where you will visit the fair
- Confirm that the event information submitted is correct for your location, click “Apply” and then “Approve” to register your attendance
