Prepare your CV! August and September will be carried out Second National Job Fair 2024 in Guatemala. It will be an opportunity for thousands of Guatemalans to apply for jobs in the country’s 22 departments.

Second National Employment Fair 2024 of the Ministry of Labor

He Ministry of Labor and Social Security —Mintrab— announced the realization of the Second National Job Fair 2024 during the Business Information Forum held in early August. At this event, it was reported that more than 150 companies are expected to participate, offering around 5,000 vacancies for Guatemalans looking for work.

The Second National Job Fair will be held in the 22 departments of Guatemalafrom August 27 to September 5. This event will provide a platform for attendees to interact directly with companies from various sectors, present their skills and competencies, and apply for available vacancies. The fair represents an excellent opportunity for those looking to enter or re-enter the labour market, as it will bring together a wide range of employers in one place.

In the first edition of this event, a pre-registration system was implemented for participants, but it has not yet been confirmed whether the same dynamic will be followed for this second edition. Tuesday, August 27th from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.:

  • Quetzaltenango: Paseo Las Americas Shopping Center, Las Americas Avenue 9th. Street 0-20, Zone 9
  • Suchitepéquez: Mazatenango Central Park Cultural Center, Old Quarters, 2nd Avenue 6-23, Zone 1
  • Quiché: Location to be confirmed
  • Izabal: Puerto Barrios boardwalk

Wednesday, August 28th from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.:

  • Zacapa: Zacapa Municipal Multipurpose Hall, 3rd Street 12-45, Zone 1
  • Sololá: Kilometer 146, entrance to Main Street, Zone 2 of Panajachel
