Miroslav Romashchenko appointed head coach of Grozny football club Akhmat reported team press office. Mr. Romashchenko succeeded Sergei Tashuev, whose resignation became known on 15 August.

As specified in the press service of Akhmat, the contract with Miroslav Romashchenko is for three years. The coaching staff also included Andrey Sosnitsky (senior coach), Robert Evdokimov (coach), Alexander Goncharov (physical training coach), Vadim Arkhidyakonskikh (trainer-analyst).

Miroslav Romashchenko is 49 years old. Previously, he coached Tom and Salyut Belgorod. From October 2011 to May 2013, he worked at Akhmat in the headquarters of the then head coach Stanislav Cherchesov. In addition, Mr. Romashchenko worked in Moscow Dynamo, Polish Legia and Hungarian Ferencváros, and was also a member of the coaching staff of the Russian national team.
