This Thursday, July 11, 2024, starting at 10:00 a.m., the Misael Acosta Solís University Institute held a press conference to inform citizens about its academic offering and the enrollment schedule for the 2024-2025 period. The event was attended by authorities, teachers, students, the media, and the general public.
Renata Costales Brito, Rector of the Misael Acosta Solís University Institute, said in her inaugural address: “Today we will share with you essential details about our academic offerings, innovations in the study programs and the multiple opportunities we provide to students for a truly comprehensive education. We are convinced that education is the most powerful tool to transform lives, and at the Dr. Misael Acosta University Institute, we work tirelessly to be a beacon of knowledge and excellence.” The academic offering offered by the Dr. Misael Acosta University Institute is third-level degrees in: Naturopathy, Nursing, Comprehensive Aesthetics and Comprehensive Care for Older Adults, endorsed by SENESCYT and the Ministry of Public Health. From July 1st to August 3rd (registration and enrollment), September 1st (online inauguration – regular period 2024-2025), from September 3rd to 7th (start of in-person and online classes).

Masherlyn Gavín, director of the Naturopathy Program, explained that the mission of this specialty is to train competent professionals with a humanistic vision and ecological thinking, articulating the academic component, research and the connection with society, through the application and promotion of Naturopathy to improve the quality of life of the community.
It should be noted that the Naturopathy Technologist can work professionally in public and private institutions developing the different techniques learned and recognized worldwide such as: Food Naturopathy, Phytotherapy, Chiromassage, Bach Flowers, Aromatherapy and other therapies such as Apiratia and Reiki.
The professional service of the Naturopathy Technologist can be carried out in clinics, hospitals and pharmacies, applying techniques and knowledge for the treatment of various diseases, home care, management of health equipment, personal therapy centers, beauty and cosmetology centers, physical therapy and rehabilitation centers, natural product marketing centers and technical higher education and technology centers in Naturopathy.
