This fact was regretted by the deputy Rojas, who explained that she was facing an exceptional situation, along with calling those who rejected her daughter’s presence “miserable.”

A tense moment was recorded in the Chamber of Deputies, after Two opposition deputies did not allow their counterpart from the Frente Amplio, Camila Rojas, to be with her daughter two years in the Court.

The incident began when Eric Aedo (DC), Vice President of the Lower House, interrupted the session to ask Camila Rojas to take out the two-year-old.

In the face of these, Members of parliament from all sectors, including Marisela Santibáñez (PC) and Eduardo Durán (RN), took the floor to recall that other deputies were allowed to be accompanied by their children, as was the case with Duran himself or Tomas de Rementeria.

Faced with this situation, the secretary of the House, Miguel Landeros, explained that Rojas’ baby could be in the Chamber if there was unanimity. However, Agustín Romero (REP) and Johannes Kaiser (IND) voted against, so the girl had to be removed.reported Biobío radio.

This fact was regretted by Deputy Rojas, who explained that she was facing an exceptional situation, along with calling those who rejected her daughter’s presence “miserable.”

“My daughter is two years old and I have taken her to the House three times. I am aware that by regulation she cannot enter the chamber unless there is unanimity, however, and as I was registered to speak, I entered the chamber and Deputy Schneider was going to see her outside for a few minutes,” the Frente Amplio legislator said on social media.

Camila Rojas added that “we were on it, it was not more than five minutes, but in those minutes they asked to remove her, my fellow deputies asked for unanimity for her to stay but two Republicans did not give the agreement. “I’m sure that President Karol Cariola would have handled the situation better, but she was leading the committees. And of course I don’t expect anything from those two Republicans, I find them miserable.”
