Responsibility for the development of genetic technologies, bioengineering, etc. will be on Tatyana Golikova. And Denis Manturov will be engaged in technological and nuclear supervision, will oversee the development of technologies in the space industry, as well as mobile communication networks and quantum sensors.

Alexander Novak will be responsible for nuclear and hydrogen energy, decarbonization and smart energy systems. Under the control of Marat Khusnullin will now be technologies for the prevention and elimination of environmental pollution. And Dmitry Chernyshenko will develop artificial intelligence technologies, quantum computing and Internet communication solutions.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed Mikhail Mishustin to take control of high-tech areas of the economy. To do this, the president proposed to distribute the industry among the vice-premiers. “And it is necessary to determine more ambitious indicators based on the current needs of our economy,” the Russian president added.
