The government has simplified the procedure for state registration (accreditation) for universities, colleges and schools from March 1 of this year, the corresponding provision was approved by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
“According to the regulation, schools, colleges and universities will undergo the state accreditation procedure only once – the issued certificate of accreditation will be valid indefinitely,” the statement said.

Educational organizations whose accreditation is valid until March 1, 2022 will not need to obtain it again. Their certificates confirming the completion of the procedure will automatically become indefinite.
The government believes that the innovation will reduce the administrative burden on these organizations and educational institutions will not be distracted from their main work. Rosobrnadzor will monitor the quality of education.
