BVB is making an important personnel decision for the future: Sven Mislitat is about to return to Borussia Dortmund. This is reported by the pay TV channel Sky. The 51-year-old is to become the new sports director or technical director for the black and yellow team. It is said that the negotiations are on the home stretch.
Mislintat is said to have always been open to returning to Dortmund. BVB boss Hans Joachim Watzke absolutely wanted to sign his former employee. Mislintat will apparently sign a long-term contract with the runner-up.
From 2006, the Dortmund native worked as chief scout for the club, recommending players such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Shinji Kagawa, among others, and thus laid a crucial building block for BVB’s successful football.
