Miss Angola “raises” the audience with a parade in a mumuila costume in El Salvador

by time news

On the day dedicated to the parade of candidates dressed in typical clothes, as part of the Miss Universe contest, whose gala takes place in the early hours of this Sunday, in El Salvador, Bárbara Coimbra wore a model made by Angolan carnival artist Poly Rocha.

For the second year in a row, the Miss Angola Universe Committee emphasizes and invests in national production, taking to the Miss Universe stage the formal dress and typical costume created and made by Angolan artists.

Bárbara Coimbra, who was elected Miss Angola Universe 2023 in July, demonstrated her commitment to promoting the culture and beauty of the country across the border.

It is worth remembering that Angola has in its gallery the title of Miss Universe 2011, won by Leila Lopes, the current president of the Miss Angola Committee. VM
